Unlocking the Secrets of Time: Visualizing Your Life in Weeks

Some weeks ago, I read an intriguing article discussing the perception that life is short, when in reality, it’s not short – the truth is, we often waste a significant amount of time.

The article featured a grid with 52 squares horizontally, representing each year, and 90 squares vertically, corresponding to a person’s lifetime.

You input your birthday, and it reveals how many weeks have elapsed since your birth.

This visualization is powerful, it allows you to see at a glance how many weeks have passed and how many remain until your next significant milestone.

At times, it’s challenging to grasp the idea that five years into the future is a substantial period.

Consider an Olympic athlete who must prepare for four years until the next Olympic Games. Of course, many things can transpire in between, but it’s crucial to assess what you’ve achieved and how much lies ahead.

I was so captivated by this perspective on life that I embarked on a quick project to create my own reflective grid. After about a week of work, I successfully mapped out 90 years in weeks.
